Auburn – Louise (Bernier) Comeau, 90, of Auburn passed away on Thursday, July 13th in Saint Vincent Hospital after a long illness.
Louise was married to the late Wilfred J. Comeau who died in 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Louise Swanson and her husband, Dana of Oxford; a son, Peter Comeau and his wife, Alice of Honolulu, HI; a daughter in law, Catherine Comeau of Spencer; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Comeau was born in Derry, NH daughter of the late Gilbert and Edna Bernier and is also predeceased by a son, Wilfred Comeau Jr. and a grandson, Dana Swanson Jr.
Louise volunteered her time for Catholic Charities in Worcester many years ago, where she helped take care of infant children.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 11 AM in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 before the funeral service. Memorial contributions in memory of Louise may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
