DEVENEY, John Edmund formerly of Mission Hill, Roslindale, North Port FL., died suddenly in Prince Edward Island June 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Shirley (McCarron). Loving father of Shawn and his wife Ewa, Steven and his wife Donna, Edward and his wife Adrienne, Brian and Catherine. Grandfather of Jolanta, Cheyenne, Amanda, and Christian. Brother of Beatrice and her husband John Lowney, Margaret Hurley, James, Patrick and his wife Joan, and the late Anne. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Saturday, July 8th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.
