It was his love for playing and competing that led to his earning first team All Scholastic Honors in 1954 and his induction into the English High School Hall of Fame and being selected to their All-Century Team. Bob was also inducted into the Boston Park League Hall of Fame. He worked at the Boston Edison Company and was a 37 year member of local 369.
