Westborough: Susan M. (Silvestry) Starratt, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility. She leaves several nieces and nephews and a good friend, Marilyn Rogers of Worcester. She was pre-deceased by her husband Roscoe P. Starratt and several siblings.
Susan was born in Westboro, daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Dostillio) Silvestry. She graduated from Westboro High School- Class of 1939, and worked as a secretary in the Engineering Department for Leland Gifford Co. for many years. Susan was a longtime Worcester resident before moving to The Willows in Westboro. She volunteered at the Worcester VNA Hospice Program at both Memorial and Hahnemann Hospitals.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Rural Cemetery 180 Grove Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
