WORCESTER – Nancy Joe (Wilson) Foresta, 51, died peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester. Nancy was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Earl S. and June E. (Johnson) Wilson.
She was raised in Shrewsbury and graduated from Shrewsbury High School and latter attended Becker College, where she studied psychology. Among her jobs through the years, Nancy most recently worked with her brother at Hadwen Pizza in Worcester for several years. She enjoyed Cape Cod, especially the long walks she took on the beaches there. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves her beloved companion of the last 21 years, Kevin Dickie; her two children, Jenna Blake Dickie and Michael E,. Wilson, both of Worcester; her four brothers, Robert Sweet of Grafton, Gary Sweet and Mark Sweet, both of Shrewsbury and Jay Sweet of Charlton; her step-sister, Suzanne Wilson Albert; two grandchildren, Jaelynn Sweeney and Grace; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Nancy’s family on Thursday, May 11, from 4-7 p.m. at the CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the JD Scholarship Fund, Central Federal Credit Union, 714 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
