Worcester: Elizabeth A. (Higgins) Potter Richards, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Christopher House of Worcester. She leaves a daughter, Sandra L. Dufault and her husband David of Worcester; a son David Potter and his wife Patricia of Bradenton, Florida; 5 grandchildren- Kristin Parkhurst, Karyn Champlin, Erin Mellin, Kimberly Aubuchon, and Brian Potter; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth "Betty" was born in New Bedford, MA, daughter of the late David and Freida (Stoll) Higgins. She graduated from New Bedford High School and she worked for many years as a Regional Manager for Curtis Publishing Company. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Florida and enjoyed golf, knitting, bingo, and coloring. Elizabeth was very proud to get her first hole in one at age 80.
According to her wishes, there are no calling hours or services. Following cremation, burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
