STANDISH- Neal A. Parker Jr., age 53, of Standish, formerly of Bar Mills and Keene, NH, passed away suddenly at his home from a heart condition on March 2, 2017.
He was born in Keene, NH on Dec. 13, 1964, the son of the late Neal Sr. and Claudia (Clark) Parker.
After graduating from Keene High School in 1984, he went on to graduate from Keene State College in1988.
He was an avid reader, woodworker and enjoyed music.
Neal will be remembered for being a kind, generous, and compassionate individual, which could be felt by the recipients – the many mentally challenged adults he worked with throughout his professional career. At the time of his death, he worked in construction in Gray, ME. Despite the hearing issues he had, Neal overcame the challenges this presented.
He is survived by hi swife- Shaune Cook; daughters- Khrystal Parker of Portland, ME & Naomi Parker of Shapleigh, ME; step son- Evan Dorler of Standish, Maine; sister-Aurea Parker of Salt Lake City, UT; nephew William Parker of Utah; and former wife- Lauren Shaw of Turner, ME. He is predeceased by his parents and grandparents- Forrest and Helen Parker.
A service will be held at a later date for friends and family to celebrate his life.
