Hysen Baboci, 88, of Worcester died Wednesday, January 11th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Klara (Gjollma) Baboci; a son, James Juni Baboci of Shrewsbury; a daughter, Genta Panajoti and her husband, Vasil of Worcester and two grandchildren, Christina and Julia.
He was born in Gjirokaster, Albania the son of Mehdi and Dane (Mosho) Baboci. Hysen graduated from medical school in Hungary and specialized in strokes for six months in Paris. He was an accomplished Neurologist in Albania who also taught at the University. He was the best Neurologist around who was always willing to help. Hysen enjoyed spending his time reading, listening to classical music and spending time with his family.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, January 14th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
