Therese R.M. (Cloutier) Carpenter, 85, of Worcester, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother died Friday, December 30th at home surrounded by her family. Her husband and best friend of 66 years, Bernard E. Carpenter died in 2015. She leaves her daughter, Robin M. Robinson and her husband, Brian; her three grandsons, Bruce and his wife, Janet and their children, Caleb, Abby, and Chloe; Matthew and his wife, Renee and their children, Brian and Mackenzie; and Joseph and his daughter, Kaylynn. She was predeceased by her siblings, Pauline Montville, Yvonne Lahair, Paul Cloutier, Louise Lipnickas and Antionette St. George.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Victor and Blanche (Dufresne) Cloutier. Therese enjoyed crocheting and occasionally going to the casino. She was a special woman who cherished the time she spent with her family.
Funeral services and burial will be private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Therese’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
