Obituary

Lizardo Santiago, Jr., 65, of Worcester a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle and friend died Friday, December 16th at home. He was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico and spent 41 wonderful years married to the love of his life. He leaves his loving and devoted wife, Rosa M. Santiago of Worcester whom he constantly reminded us how lucky he was to have married such a beautiful soul; a son, Lizardo Santiago, III; three daughters, Rosa H. Santiago-Pena, LizMarie Santiago and Michelle Santiago-Nieves whom he loved with all his heart and was so proud of each of them; two son-in-law’s, Angel L. Nieves and Tony Pena whom he loved as they were his own; six grandchildren, Nina Angelique, Joshua Miguel, Gabriella Rose, Lucas Alexander, Joseph Anthony and Sarah Rose his pride and joy; 8 brothers; 8 sisters; loving family members and dear friends.
You were always loved; you left this world but never our hearts R.I.P. to our Dear Lizardo Santiago, Jr., who’s undeniable touching personality has left anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him in awe. You have left a beautiful legacy, may you rock the heavens among st the best of them you will be missed but definitely never forgotten. We love you dearly.
His funeral is Wednesday, December 21st in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 20th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
