WORCESTER: Robert E. “Bobby” Cort, 60, formerly of Uncatena Ave., died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Vibra Hospital-Central Campus in Leicester.
He leaves his mother, Lois C. (Miller) Cort; his brother, James K. Cort; both of Worcester; two sisters, Marcia and Brenda Eames, both of Thompson, CT; and several nieces and nephews. Another sister, Elsa Milus, predeceased him.
He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Chester E. Cort and was a graduate of Burncoat Senior High School. He also attended art school at the Worcester Art Museum .
Bobby worked as a dispatcher at a trucking company for several years before leaving work due to an illness. He enjoyed making furniture and painting. He will be remembered as an exceptional gourmet cook.
After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
