Obituary

Worcester – Rita A. (LeBlanc) Goyette, 96, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23rd at the Golden Living Center – Hermitage after an illness.

Rita was married to Joseph H. Goyette who died in 1999. She is survived by three sons, David J. Goyette of Fond du lac, WI, Dennis R. Goyette of Milton, VT and John H. Goyette of Witchita, KS; a daughter, Nancy J. Lauzon of Worcester and her favorite son-in-law. Leonard R. Lauzon; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind, 2 brothers-in-laws, Francis Frenier and Raymond goyette. She had five sisters who predeceased her; Rose Lavallee, Agnes Lambert, Louise Belacki, and Malvina Frenier and Cecille Allen.

Mrs. Goyette was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Louis and Emma (Racine) LeBlanc and attended the former Holy Family School. Rita was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

A funeral will be held from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. on Friday, October 28th with a mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home before the funeral. Memorial contributions in memory of Rita may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church “Family Center Campaign” 1222 Main St. Worcester, MA 01603.
