Frederick J. Mottram, 68, a resident of Methuen, MA, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family.
Born in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, Fred was educated in Ireland and came to the United States in the mid 1960’s. He had worked for Essem’s for 4 years.
The son of the late Frederick and Eleanor (Mason) Mottram, family members include his children: Michael Mottram and his wife Leah Rapaglia of Methuen, MA, Jacqueline Merrick of Salem, NH, Colleen Dupont and her husband David of Derry, NH, and Heather Mottram also of Derry, NH. Fred is also survived by his grandchildren: Katlynn Flanagan, Samantha Hoyt, David Dupont, Jr., Shawn Dupont, Nickolas Dupont, Emily Sennott, William Sennott, Jr., James Sennott and Shawna Mottram. He is also survived by his sisters: Pat, Ann, Colleen and Maggie as well as his brother Mike and his special friend Betty “Boop” and several nieces and nephews among whom is Sherry Martinez. Fred was predeceased by his son Shawn “Harry” Mottram.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday prior to the services from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
