LACONIA - Anna B. Prete, 77, of 30 County Drive, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia. Anna was a long time resident of Weirs Beach, New Hampshire before moving from Colonia, New Jersey.
She was born on September 9, 1938 in Boston, MA., the daughter of the late Oscar and Harriett (Cairns) Hanson.
Our Dear Mom loved to play Bingo and make crafts with her friends. She enjoyed gardening and decorating for the holidays.
Anna is survived by three sons; Joseph Prete Jr. of Austin, TX., James Prete and daughter- law Donna Prete of Kendall Park, NJ., Michael Prete and daughter-in-law Stephanie Prete of Rochester, NH., and one daughter, Susanne Prete and her Fiancé James Kvedar of Farmington, CT., her beloved grandchildren, Ava, Colby, Marcus, Noah, Angelo, Nicholas and Felicia and her beloved great grandchildren, Eliana, Adriana, Cameron, Kaleb, Jayden, Mason and Maria.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Joseph (Joe) P. Prete Sr. in 2000.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 10AM on Monday, August 1, 2016 in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia.
