BEVERLY FARMS: Thomas Joseph O’Brien, 82, died peacefully Wednesday, June 8, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Nancy (Swain) O’Brien.
Born in Beverly on August 22, 1933, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Barbara (King) O’Brien. A lifelong resident of Beverly Farms, he was a graduate of St. Margaret’s School in Beverly Farms and St. Mary’s High School in Lynn.
Thomas worked along side his father and brother for O’Brien Plumbing & Heating Contractors in Beverly Farms for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David Thomas O’Brien of Beverly Farms; two grandchildren, David Thomas O’Brien, Jr. and Daniel Peter O’Brien; brother, Stephen P. O’Brien of Beverly and many loving nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Barbara “Patsy” Gluckert.
