LEICESTER: Don B. Elliott, 80, of Virginia Drive, died Wednesday, June 29th, at UMass Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Margot T. (Tiemann) Elliott, a daughter, Lisa M. Elliott of West Newbury, three sisters: Janet Wallis of League City, TX, Dorothy Needles of St. Louis, MO, and Linda Eader of League City, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Elliott was born in East St. Louis, IL, son of Donald H. and Faye (Burton) Elliott. He graduated from East St. Louis High School in 1954, and Harvard College in 1958. He enjoyed a long career in advertising and was president of Hirsch Elliott Inc. in New York City for many years before moving to Leicester. He enjoyed reading, traveling and watching baseball.
