SPENCER: Lorraine M. (Fredette) Cote, 93, of Pleasant Street died Saturday, April 2 in Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield with her granddaughter by her side.
Her husband Raymond A. Cote died in 1993. Her daughter Leslie Balthazar died in 1998. She leaves her granddaughter Leslie Burgos and her husband Eithel of Spencer, three great-grandchildren Jacob, Julia & Olivia Burgos and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cote was born in Spencer, daughter of Omer and Julie (Barrette) Fredette. She was a custodian for many years at David Prouty High School retiring in 2010. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her yard and taking car rides. The family would like to thank the staff at Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center for their exceptional care.
The Funeral will be held Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, April 5 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
