Obituary

Worcester - Christopher "Hilli" Bronzo, 29, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to complications of asthma on March 15, 2016. He leaves his mother Nancy Bronzo; his sister Jessica Bronzo, and her husband, Carl Marcustre; 2 nephews, Harley and Chase Marcustre, a brother, Adam Schmaelzle, his maternal grandmother Joyce Bronzo, his godparents, Mark and Janice Bronzo, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and girlfriend, Abbey Murphy. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Daniel C. Bronzo and niece Cali Marcustre.

Christopher was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational High School in 2005. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and worked as an electrician for the Sunrun Solar Panel Company. Christopher received The Sons of Italy Student Athlete Award in 2005. He began playing rugby at age 18. He was an active member of the Worcester Rugby Football Club, whose brotherhood made a lasting impact on and was an important aspect of his life. The family and relationships he made through years in the WRFC are immeasurable and unforgettable. Their support during this difficult time has been selfless and without reservation. Christopher's personality and smile were infectious and brought joy to all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Friday March 25th, from 4-8 pm at Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will be held Saturday March 26th at 10 a.m. at Nordgren Funeral Home.
