Obituary



Southbridge – Edward L. Kondracki, 74, of Southbridge, died on Tuesday, March 8th in Harrington Memorial Hospital.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Eleanor M. (Gosselin) Kondracki; a son, Scott Kondracki and his wife Donna of Charlton; 2 daughters, Gayle Howland and her husband Robert of Sturbridge and Tina Leone of Dudley; a son in law, Richard Lassman of Clinton; 5 grandchildren, Riley and Bryce Howland and Payton and Paige Leone and Keith Lassman as well as many nephews and nieces.

Ed was born in Worcester, and raised by his grandmother, Stefania “Stella” Duma and is also predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Lassman who died in October 2014 and a brother, Walter Kondracki.

Ed served in the United States Army. He worked for many years at Consolidated Beverages as a truck driver and he previously worked at the former Brown Shoe Company. Ed was a family oriented man who loved to draw, paint, do puzzles and go camping in Bourne with his wife. He also loved his canine companion “Mandy”. He will be missed by many.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at 11AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 15th from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Ed may be made to either the Massachusetts Veterans Shelter 69 Grove Street Worcester, MA 01605 or to the American Heart Association 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
