Obituary

WORCESTER-Paul B. Coffey, Jr., 47, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his daughter, Olivia A. Coffey of North Hampton; his parents, Paul B. Coffey Sr, and Margaret M. (O'Grady) Coffey, of Worcester; three brothers, Michael P. Coffey and his wife Theresa of Rutland, Daniel J. Coffey and his wife Kristan of Paxton and James J. Coffey and his wife Suzanne of Paxton; a sister, Kathleen M. Coffey of Worcester; six nephews and nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend Lori Parks.

Paul was born in Worcester, graduated from South High School and was a longtime member of St. Peter's Church. He worked at Atlas Distributing, Inc. for several years. Paul was a former member of the AOH and was very proud of his Irish heritage. Attending the annual Worcester St. Patrick's Day Parade was always a special day for Paul. The parade takes place this Sunday, and it will be an especially sad day for his family without him there.

Paul's family would like to thank Dr. David Shepro and his staff for the wonderful care they provided.


The funeral will be held on Monday, March 14 from CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will also be held on Monday from 9:00 - 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
