Ruth A. (Moore) Horanzy, 76, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 in her home with her family at her side.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Stanley J. ‘Sonny’ Horanzy, Jr., 4 children, Stanley J. Horanzy, III and his wife Kim of Auburn, Scott E. Horanzy and his husband Karl Cole of Worcester, Elizabeth E. Rivernider and her husband Todd of Webster, and Stacy J. Bankowski and her husband Walter ‘Wally’ of Oxford. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, and a sister, Donna Charbonneau of Southbridge, 3 brothers, Willis Moore of South Carolina, William Moore of Rhode Island and David Moore of Townsend, and a close family friend, Michelle Trio.
Ruth was born in Charlton, daughter of William H. and Geraldine (Gay) Moore and lived in Webster for many years, before moving to Oxford several years ago.
She worked as a nurses’ aide for the Comm. Of MA. in Westborough for many years before her retirement.
A Graveside Service will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10AM in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster.
Memorial Calling Hours will be Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 5-7PM at the ROBERT J. MILLER-OXFORD FUNERAL HOME, 247 Main St., Oxford.
