Marie A. Carbone, of Medford died Tuesday February 23. She was 88.

Marie was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Saverio and Pasqualina (Ferrara) Porriello.

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Carbone. Devoted mother of Louis Carbone Jr. and his wife Geraldine of Medford, Patricia Quinlan and her husband Richard of Medford, Saverio Carbone and his wife Donna of Florida, Phil Carbone and his wife Nance of North Reading. Loving grandmother of Dawn Marie, Angelina, Sue, James, Sammy, Tracy, Michael, Nicholas, and the late Louis. Loving great grandmother of Ryan, Kayla, Eden, Amelia, Jonathan, Lola, Gia, Rocco and Stella. Dear sister of Lorraine Tringale and her husband Joseph of North Reading, Jeanette Raso and her husband Reginaldo of Medford, the late Nicholas Porriello, Lucy Fortunato, and Rita Carbone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Saint Joseph’s Church, 114 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Services will conclude with burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
