Eleanor Catchpole, 88, of Worcester died Sunday, October 25th in Christopher House. She leaves a daughter, Jayne McGinn and her husband, Howard, of Paxton; four grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Laura and Ethel and two great grandchildren, Lilah and Nolan.
She was born in Brookline, the daughter of Frederic and Jean (MacLean) Dewey. Eleanor worked for Fenwal Associates as a draftsman for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
The family would like to thank the staff of Christopher Heights, Christopher House, and the Jewish Health Care Hospice for the compassion and care she has received over the years.
Her funeral is Wednesday, October 28th at 10:00 AM in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street. There are no calling hours. Burial will be on Thursday, October 29th in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Please omit flowers. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
