Florence B. (Hartwick) Olensky, 91, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, October 22 in her home. Her husband of 65 years, Stanley Olensky, passed away in 2011. She leaves a son, Stanley P. Olensky of Spencer; a daughter, Sandra A. Fisher and her husband, Dr. Barry P. Fisher of Kingston; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was born in Shrewsbury, the daughter of Percy and Lena (Joykiski) Hartwick and graduated from Worcester’s former High School of Commerce. During World War II, Florence worked at the Norton Company and she was later a bookkeeper for Accountant Charles Fourkas. She lived in Spencer for many years.
Her funeral service and burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester were private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, directed arrangements.
