Davis, Robert Darrell “Bob”, 82, of Louisville passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home.
Robert is a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church and had retired from Ohio Causality Insurance Co. He was a former U of L basketball player class of ‘54, Shively Baptist Church Bus Ministry, Shively City Counsel and coached little league at Shively Park.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Patty (Douglas) Davis; ten children, Victoria Davis, Laura Lee Boswell, Pana Danzinger, Carla Goldsmith (Steve), Darrell Davis (Diane), Damon Davis (Estelle), Luann Cassell (Alan), Maria Palmer, Roger Brown & Karen Brown; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 2:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Memorial gifts may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
