Margaret (Naun) Mazziotta passed away peacefully at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 85. Born and raised in Boston’s West End, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Sophia (Ligor) Naun. A Somerville resident for over 50 years, Margaret worked in the banking industry throughout her life. She was also fondly remembered for having served as a lunch mother at the Powder House Community School in Somerville. Margaret was devoted to her family, played bingo and enjoyed the company of her relatives and friends.

The beloved wife of the late Rosario Mazziotta, who passed away in 1989, she was a devoted mother to Michael Mazziotta and Diana Stuart of Chelmsford, Jerry Mazziotta of Somerville and Anthony Mazziotta of Somerville. The dear sister of Ida Lazar of South Boston and the late George, Kay, Vera and Ollie, she leaves many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM and again on Wednesday morning July 15th at 10 AM followed by a funeral service in St. George Cathedral, 523 East Broadway, South Boston at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
