Brenner, Marlene Joyce of Revere originally of Brookline on Monday, June 22, 2015. Loving daughter of the late William Brenner and Gertrude (Katz) Brenner. Loving sister of Gerald Brenner of Revere and Elaine Johnston of Dedham. Loving aunt of William Brenner, Wendi Brenner, Shira Brenner, Stacey Coleman, Brian Anderson, James Johnston, Craig Johnston and the late Michael Brenner. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. She loved the ocean and had a talent for knitting. In the 1970s she managed her own knitting shop called The Nimble Needle. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, taking her nieces and nephews on many trips to the White Mountains and lakes of New Hampshire, hosting holiday celebrations and caring for the younger members of the family on an almost daily basis. She spent many years devoted to the family business, managing Saugus Shoe Barn and helping people get what they needed for weddings, proms and other big life events.
