Mary B. “Peg” (Baeta) Perdigao, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday April 5, 2005 in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 76 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony R. “Tony” Perdigao.
Born August 8, 1928, in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Abreu) Baeta.
She was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy and Fisher Junior College.
Mrs. Perdigao was employed by Stoughton High School as a secretary for twenty-six years.
She was a member of the Stoughton Womens Club, enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Perdigao is survived by her daughters: Donna L. Richman and her husband Jonathan B. of Easton, Barbara A. Perdigao and Krisanthi Pappas of Foxboro, and Susan P. Harrington and her husband Steven P. of Easton. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alexander Richman, Carrie Richman, Nathan Richman, Emily Harrington, Lyle Harrington and Evan Harrington all of Easton and several nieces and nephews. She was also a sister to the late Louis Baeta.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday April 8, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
Visiting hours are on Thursday April 7, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
