Obituary

Constance J. Robillard, passed away on May 10, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with ocular melanoma. Connie was proud to be the wife and love of Paul J Robillard, Hudson NH who she married on May 5th 1985. Connie Baker Robillard was born in Nashua NH, the daughter of the late Wallace G. Baker and Beatrice H. Smith Baker. Her home town was Hudson, NH and Concord Point, Rye NH, where she spent her summers. During her childhood she attended schools in Nashua and Rye, NH, Bayonne, NJ, and Meriden, CT. She attended Bayonne High School, and graduated from Alvirne High School, Class of 1962. A graduate of New Hampshire Technical College, Class of 1979 in Concord NH, BS from UNH, 1985 Manchester and received her Master’s degree from Rivier College in Nashua, Class of 1991 in counseling and psychotherapy. Always proud of her profession, she was employed for Nashua Community Council, Harbor Homes Inc. and The Neighborhood Health Center, Nashua NH. The work that brought her the most joy was her private practice as a psychotherapist and founder of Eventide Counseling Services, Londonderry NH. She loved her clients and felt privileged to have met and worked with so many people over the span of her career. She was proud of being an Internal Family Systems Therapist and author of several books, some with Marcel A. Duclos, M.Ed, friend and colleague. Connie loved nature, animals, writing, painting, music, the ocean and kayaking.
Connie leaves her love and soul mate, Paul J. Robillard. Her children who she loved with her whole heart, Allan F. Goodwin and fiancée, Kris Bettencourt, Brian Goodwin and his wife Patti, Matt Goodwin and his wife Jen, Mike Robillard and his fiancée, Heather Olsen. Paul’s children whom she loved as her own, Keeley Novotny and her husband Kirk, Keith Robillard and his wife Reen. She has 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Her friend Debbie Jones, Brattleboro VT became her adopted sister. Connie had two biological siblings, Shirley Clemons & William Baker of Merrimack NH plus several nieces and nephews.
Connie spoke of only one regret; that there wasn’t more time to spend with Paul, her family, to kayak, walk on the beach and cuddle with her fur-babies, Sunney T. Bear, Belle and Angel.
A calling hour was held on Saturday, May 16th from 1 – 2pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A memorial service was held at 2:00pm in the funeral home.
