Obituary

HYDE PARK - Michael A. Gilmore, 44, of Hyde Park died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, in Braintree.

Born and raised in Readville, he was the son of Robert and Carol (Brill) Gilmore of Raynham.

Mr. Gilmore was a member of the Iron Workers of Boston.

He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his children.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Michael Gilmore Jr., Taylor Gilmore, Anthony Gilmore and Courtney Gilmore, all of Norfolk; his siblings,Robert Gilmore Jr., Steven Gilmore, April O’Reilly, Carol Dalia, Mary Breen and Laura Hurd; his former wife, Cathy Gilmore of Norfolk; several sisters and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews; one great-niece and one great-nephew.

His funeral will be held at 9:15 a.m. Friday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 in Holy Family Church, Middleboro Ave., East Taunton. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.

Visiting hours will be Thursday 4-8 p.m.
