Alex Charles Sigel, 21, of Mystic died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA. He was born on December 22, 1992, in Norwalk CT, the son of Kenneth Sigel and Anne Carpender. He attended school The Williams School in New London and graduated from Joel Barlow High School in Redding, Class of 2011. He was a junior in college, studying at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Sigel and his step mother Sarah Kelly of Mystic, his mother Anne Carpenter of Redding and by three siblings, Tim Larson, Erin Larson and Schulyer Rice. He is survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was a beloved member of the Kelly family in Minnesota and the Sigel family of Massachusetts.
His family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, December 18, from 5 to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, December 19, at 2:30PM St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 15 Pearl Street, Mystic. A private burial will follow Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic.
