TAUNTON – Jeffrey E. “Nipper” Medeiros of Taunton died at Morton Hospital on Sept. 26, 2014.
He was 57.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of Elaine A. (Barreira) Medeiros of Taunton and the late Ernest P. Medeiros.
Jeffrey was raised in Fall River and graduated from Durfee High School and from Massachusetts School of Barbering.
He attended Bristol Community College and the Paul Mitchell School in California.
A retired barber, Jeffrey worked as a barber in Taunton at All Stars (formerly Rocky’s) for many years as well as Carl’s Barber Shop in Davie Florida.
He was a devout Catholic and attended mass daily.
An avid sports fan and excellent athlete, his greatest passion was golf, a sport he loved and excelled at.
He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church.
In addition to his mother, Jeff leaves two brothers, Gary Medeiros and his companion Lisa of Taunton and David Medeiros and his wife Susan of Barrington, RI; two sisters, Deborah Babin and her husband Paul of Swansea and Kara Rosselli and her husband Anthony of Topsfield; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was also brother of the late Craig and Glenn Medeiros.
His funeral will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday Oct. 1st at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Taunton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 30th from 4 to 8 p.m.
