In Taunton, June 7, 2014 Gwendolyn Frances Jeffreys daughter of the late Paul and Doris (Tuggle) Weston died at her daughters home at the age of 65 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Gwendolyn was born in Chicago, Illinois and also was a retired maintenance custodial professional. Gwendolyn was an active member of the Liberty Christen Church in Taunton. She was the mother of Melanie Jeffreys Williams, Darlene Jeffreys Mitchell, John Jeffreys, Dereik Jeffreys, Thomas Jeffreys and the late Juanita Jeffreys. Mother in-law of Rodney Williams. Sister of Thomas Weston, Paul Weston, Lamont Weston and the late Ann Marie Fields. She was grandmother and great grandmother of a host of grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the Liberty Christian Center, 159 Winthrop Street in Taunton Saturday, June 14th from 1-3 PM. A service will be held at the church at 3 PM. Interment will be private.
