Brunswick, ME - Theresa A. (Sawyer) Gray, 59, formerly of Leicester/Worcester, died Friday, April 25, 2014.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Barbara A Gray of Worcester; her sister, Suzanne M. Blouin and her husband Stephen of Orange Park, Fla.; two brothers, Paul G. Sawyer and his wife Christine of Brunswick, Me; Michael A. Sawyer and his wife Robin of Worcester, and several nieces and nephews.
Theresa was born in Worcester the daughter of the late George K. Sawyer and Marion T. (Hisoire) Sawyer. She was predeceased by a daughter Amanda M. Gray.
Theresa worked for many years as a culinary aide at the former Worcester City Hospital.
Theresa was in the Leicester Drum and Bugle Corp. She also belonged to the girl scouts as a young girl, later as an adult was a volunteer. After graduating from Leicester High School, she did post graduate work at the former Worcester Girls Trade School in the culinary arts program. Theresa also loved to travel to visit friends and family. She also enjoyed many kinds of music and crafting. She enjoyed the company of pets later on in life.
A private memorial service was held at Alfred Roy and Sons Funeral Home, with a Christian burial at Notre Dame Cemetary in Worcester
