Kathleen A. (Sullivan) Lavezzo 55, of Natick died unexpectedly Friday, May 16, 2014 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Lavezzo, Jr who died in 2010 with whom she shared 15 years of marriage. Born in Cambridge she was the devoted daughter of Joan (Sugrue) Sullivan of West Dennis, Kenneth L. Sullivan and his wife Patricia of Scituate.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister Karen Baker and her husband Bob of Wayland, two brothers Gary Sullivan of HI, Ken Sullivan and his wife Michelle of Scituate, two step children Jamie Stevens and her husband Ben of Framingham, Randi J. Benoit and her husband Steven of Milford, four brothers in law James Lavezzo and his wife Mary Ann, Michael Lavezzo all of Natick, John Lavezzo and his wife Cindy of FL, Gregory Lavezzo of Northborough, her nieces and nephews Brooke and Brett Baker, Abby and Leah Sullivan, Gina Caulfield and her husband Mike; Lisa, Angelina, Nicholas, and Derek Lavezzo.
Kathy was a bright, loving, thoughtful, sensitive and caring person. She was simply known as “Aunty” to many, even beyond her nieces and nephews, and was passionately dedicated to all of her family and friends. She was devoted to helping others in need and worked with numerous charities through which she touched many lives. She was quick witted and could light up the room with her jokes and stories, often being the life of the party. She was a voracious reader, community theater actress, comedian, and loved playing games.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, one of the many charities she cared about, at 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown MA 02472 or a charity of your choice.
Visiting hours will be held at John Everett Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, Thursday, May 22 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Friday, May 23 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home.
