FALL RIVER … Genevieve A. Stanko, 86, of Fall River died, Monday, January 13, 2014. She died at Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Stanislaw and Catherine (Kubasiewicz) Stanko and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She was employed as a clerk with the Office of Transitional Assistance in Fall River.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church in Fall River.
Survivors include a sister-in-law Gertrude Stanko of Somerset, several nieces and nephews including Thomas A. Stanko and his wife Maureen and Paul Stanko all of Swansea and Kathleen Carr of Warwick, RI. She was the sister of the late John J. Stanko, Walter S. Stanko, and Michael F. Stanko.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 9:30 A.M. at the Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in her memory to the Catholic Memorial Home.
