Obituary

Mrs. Ann (Kelley) Cote, of Marion and formerly of Taunton, died unexpectedly, Thursday, December 26, in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Cote. She was born 87 years ago in Wigin, England, the daughter of the late William and Annie (Martindale) Kelley. She immigrated to the United States at age 6 and was educated in Hanson and Abington. Ann was a Taunton resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as an inspector for Texas Instruments, Attleboro for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a former communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Taunton.
She leaves: 4 sons: Charles L. Cote and his wife, Terry of Williamsburg, Va., Thomas J. Cote and his wife Susan of Phoenix, Az., John P. Cote and his wife Susan of Taunton, and James M. Cote and his wife, Carol of Attleboro; 2 daughters: Nancy A. Caldeira and her husband, William of W.Wareham, and Laura E. Hall and her partner, Joann Dern of W.Wareham; 2 brothers: William Kelley and his wife Maria of Norton, and John Kelley and his wife, Jan of Abington; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ann was also the sister of the late Thomas, George, James and Kitty Kelley.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Tuesday, December 31 at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will precede the funeral, Tuesday, from 8:30 to 10:00 A.M. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, P.O.
