Thomas Richard Corbett Sr.,a 40 year resident of Stoughton, formerly of Dorchester,passed away at home on Sunday October 13, 2013. He was 71 years old and the beloved husband over over 50 years to Mary D.(MacPhee)Corbett.
He was the loving father to Corrine A. Corbett of Stoughton, Thomas J. Corbett Jr. of Georgetown,MA and Dorothy A. MacNiel and her husband Darren of Waltham,MA.Other survivors include his sister Mary Doyle and her husband James of Peabody,MA, his brothers, Patrick and William Corbett of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada and his 4 grandchildren. He was also a brother to the late Catherine Corbett.
Born December 3, 1941 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada he was a son to the late William Corbett and Katherine ( Fewer ) Corbett. He was employed for over 18 years as a mechanic with the Alpha Chemical Company in Stoughton. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 20, 2013 from 6 - 8 P.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. NOTE: Funeral prayers will be offered at the conclusion of the visiting hours.
