Obituary





BRIAN THOMAS McCLUSKEY,

Of Halifax, died at the age of 48.
The son of the late Joseph V. and Anne M. (Murray) McCluskey, he was born in Everett. Living in Roslindale for his early childhood, he was raised and educated in Norwood, graduating with the Norwood High School Class of 1982.

After attending Northeastern University in Boston, he became a certified horticulturalist and arborist. Brian had been employed for many years at Lovell’s Nursery in Medfield and A.J. Tomasi’s in Pembroke as well as several other area nurseries and garden centers.

He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen A. Martin and her husband, Thomas of Norwood and Patricia A. Krusz and her husband, Daniel of Norwood. Brian was raised by his late aunt and uncle, Barbara and Joseph Regan. He is also survived by his cousins, Joanne Regan of Plymouth, Maureen Kehoe of Hyde Park and Barbara Tallent of Braintree, as well as nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Resurrection in Celebration of Brian’s Life Friday, October 11th at 9 a.m. at Saint Catherine of Sienna Church, Washington Street, Norwood. Private inurnment will be held at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury. The Roache – Pushard Family Funeral Home of Canton is assisting the McCluskey Family with arrangements.
