CHELMSFORD - Barbara A. (Cloutman) Curran, age 89, formerly of Tewksbury, the beloved wife of the late Francis M. Curran, died Thursday evening, July 18, at the Westford House in Westford, MA, after a long period of declining health.
Barbara received her nursing education at the Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing, and used her skills as a L.P.N. at Tewksbury Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital in Lowell, the Lowell General Hospital, and also as a private infant care nurse.
She was mother of Ann Chandonnet of N.C., Sandra Bressler of OR, Duncan Fox, Jan Russell Fox, and Dana Warren Fox all of Dracut; sister of John Cloutman of FL, Roger H. Cloutman of Springfield, MA, Nancy Banaian of Maine, Audrey Fant of N.C., Gayle WIlson of FL; grandmother of seven; and great grandmother of two.
At her request funeral services were private.
