Costanzo Calitri, 70, of Medford died on Friday, June 7, 2013 in the Massachusetts General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The beloved husband of Anna (Montecalvo) Calitri, he was a devoted father to Tina Calitri of Medford and Anthony Calitri and his wife Wanda of Medford. A loving grandfather to Gabriella and Brianna Calitri. He was a dear brother of Maria Gesualdi, Anna Bianco and Luigi Calitri. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Born in Panni, Foggia, Puglia, Italy, Costanzo moved to Boston’s North End in 1968, then to Medford in 1997. He worked for many years as a cabinet maker for Oscar Woodworking in East Boston.

His funeral procession will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, June 11th at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Leonard Church, corner of Prince and Hanover St., Boston’s North End at 9:45AM. Services will conclude with entombment in the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home Monday, 4 thru 8 PM.
