BERKLEY – Scott A. Morrison, beloved husband of Ana R. (Torres) Morrison, died at his Berkley home on May 29, 2013.
He was 50 years old.
Born in Milton, the son of Dorothy J. (Lane) Morrison of Abington and the late Edward J. Morrison, Sr., Scott was raised and educated in Randolph.
He was a Berkley resident for the past seventeen years, and for many years worked as a self-employed general contractor.
He retired five months ago due to illness.
An active and devoted member of Grace Gospel Church of Swansea, Scott was always willing to offer a helping hand, and was known for reaching out to those in need.
He will be remembered for his devotion to God, his family and his church.
In his spare time, Scott enjoyed fishing and camping.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves a son, Patrick S. Morrison of Berkley; two daughters, Marissa A. and Emily R. Morrison, both of Berkley; three brothers, David T. Morrison of Rockland, Neal J. Morrison of Holbrook, and Curt C. Morrison of Lexington; a sister, Debra J. Laythe of Abington; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was also the brother of the late Edward J. Morrison, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary’s Square, Taunton on Monday, June 3rd at 7:15 p.m.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
The family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., prior to the services.
