William J. Dooley, III

TEWKSBURY: William J. Dooley, III, age 67, a resident of Tewksbury for 42 years, formerly of Melrose, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Stoneham.
He was the beloved husband of 43 years to Roberta G. (Brennick) Dooley.
Born in Melrose on January 21, 1946, he was the son of the late William J. Dooley, Jr. and the late Marie (Bissell) (Dooley) Liebke.
Bill was raised in Melrose, attended St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Melrose High School in 1963. He later attended Williams College, where he graduated from its School of Banking.
In 1964, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement in 2003, he served as Vice President of the Eastern Bank Branches in Saugus and Malden, where he worked for 20 years.
Bill was a former member of the Saugus Rotary Club and was an avid New England Patriots Fan.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by one son, William N. Dooley and his wife Hilary of Concord, NH; two grandchildren, Brennagh C. and Liam C. Dooley; one sister, Linda M. Kelley and her husband Richard of Tewksbury; one brother, George D. Dooley and his wife Annette of CT; also many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 6, from 5-8 p.m., in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Tuesday, May 7, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. William's Church 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Concord Hospital Center for Cardiac Care, 250 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301.
