Cecile L. (Riquier) Gilbert, 90, formerly of Sharkey Ave, died Friday, April 12, in the Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Aldor Gilbert. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Aldora (Morin) Riquier. She was a devoted homemaker, a member of the Red Hat Ladies, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the beach.
She is survived by her daughter Suzanne McAssey and her husband James of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and her sister Florence Romano of Manville. She was predeceased by her son Bruce Gilbert, and was also the sister of the late Leo, Armand, and Arthur Riquier, Irene Dubois, and Annette Poulin. Her Funeral will be held Friday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in ST. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
