Obituary

James Edward Flint, age 46 of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly at his sister’s home Monday April 8, 2013. Born November 18, 1967 in Norwood, he was the son of Sandra (Hiotes) Van and James Flint and step son of Gerry Flint and John Van. Jim was raised in Brockton and attended Southeastern Regional High School. While serving in the US Army he was stationed in Hawaii. For many years he worked as a painter and sheet rocker. Jimmy loved spending time with family, going to bingo and lottery tickets.
He was the father of Ryan Flint of Stoughton, brother of Mary Van, Tina Flint, Christopher Van, John Van and the late George Flint. He also leaves five step brothers and sisters as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday, April 16, 4-7pm. Burial will be at a later date in Melrose Cemetery. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jimmy's name to the funeral home to help defray costs.
