Loving mother of the late Charles Doherty Jr. and his wife Joan of Dorchester, James Doherty of West Roxbury, the late Daniel Doherty and his late wife Joanne, Judie Walsh and her husband Rich of West Roxbury, Karen Kelly and her husband Tom of Dedham, Denise Foye and her husband Buzz of West Roxbury, Maureen Doherty and Bill Mucciacio of Dedham, Marilyn Doherty of Dedham, the late Richard V. Doherty of West Roxbury, Kevin Doherty of West Roxbury, Michael Doherty and his wife Cathy of Dedham. Nana D to 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, as well as the many lives she touched. Her love in life was caring for her family, surrounding herself with children and watching the Red Sox. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, Aug 27th at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm.
