St. Laurent, Larry of Hingham, passed away August 18, 2012 at the age of 68.
Beloved husband of Diane (Amonte) St. Laurent. Loving father of Louis St. Laurent and wife Jennifer of Quincy and Richard St. Laurent and wife Sara of AZ. Devoted "Papa Larry" to Kaitlyn and Anna. Loving son of Florence St. Laurent of Halifax and the late Andrew St. Laurent. Brother of Regina Schuler of Abington, Andrea Hensel of WI, Edward St. Laurent of OH, and David St. Laurent of FL. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and his grand pets Yoda & Mocha.
Larry proudly served aboard the USS Enterprise as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and later served in the Army during the Persian Gulf War. He found great enjoyment offering support to his fellow veterans and was a member of the National Guard 1058th Transportation Company in Hingham, the Hingham American Legion Post 120, the Veteran’s Council and the VFW. Larry worked at General Dynamics in Quincy and later for Aquarion Water Company as a service man before his retirement. He was an avid bike rider, a lover of animals, and a member of the Hingham Son’s of Italy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9::45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:30 AM.
Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date.
