Alfred E. “Al” Marciano, 87 of Medford, died Wednesday after a long illness in the Radius Health Care at Danvers.
Born and raised in East Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 40 years and was the son of the late Grace (Papalardo) and John Marciano. Al was a Salesman at Riverside Pipe and Supply for 10 years and retired in 1990. He previously worked at the former Besco Sales in Boston as General Manager for many years. Alfred was a late World War II Navy veteran from 1943 to 1945.
Beloved husband of Carmella (Pepe). Devoted father of John Marciano of Arlington, Lynne Hermosilla and her husband Julio of Haverhill. Loving grandfather of John and Christopher Marciano, and Gina Hermosilla. Also survived by 4 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Edith Festa of Everett. Also many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
