Beverly Jean Bailey, 76, of Londonderry, NH died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Elliot Hospital of Manchester, NH after a period of declining health. She was born November 15, 1935 in Rutland, VT, and was a daughter of the late Emmett and Iris Wheeler. She was raised and educated in Rutland, and was a graduate of Rutland High School. Mrs. Bailey had been a resident of Manchester from 1975 to 1986, when she and her family relocated to Londonderry and resided for the past 26 years.
Mrs. Bailey was employed for the past 9 years as a retail clerk with Cracker Barrel of Londonderry, NH. She loved to sew and was a cloth crafter who loved quilting, made photo pillows and table runners.
Members of the family include her husband of 51 years, Lawrence G. Bailey of Londonderry, a son, Steven Bailey of Pembroke, a daughter, Nancy J. Bailey of Londonderry, three grandchildren Samantha, Madison and Cameron Bailey, a very close nephew Larry Cole of CT. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, private services are being planned by the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry, NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
