Lucian "Adrien" Masse

LACONIA - Lucian “Adrien” Masse, 83, of 65 Davis Place, died June 21st at his home after battling cancer. Adrien was born in Somersworth, NH on June 8, 1929. He moved to Laconia in 1945 and spent the rest of his life in the Laconia area.

Adrien spent many years doing farm work, landscaping, and lawn maintenance. In later years he was employed doing shredding and other office work. Adrien was a lifelong learner and spent much of his time acquiring new skills.

Adrien attended ABE classes and the Senior Center in Laconia. In his free time Adrien enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, bowling, socializing, and playing poker. He loved spending time at camp with all his friends. His infectious smile, and positive attitude made an impression on everyone who knew him.

Adrien is survived by his sister, Rose Masse of Penacook.

A celebration of his life will occur on June 28th at 1:00 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia. Burial will follow at Meredith Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakes Region Community Services, 719 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246, for summer camp scholarships.
